A licensed psychologist, former nurse, and pioneer in the field of harp therapy, Sarajane is the publishing editor of The Harp Therapy Journal and has authored several books and DVDs that are used by various harp therapy training programs. She has been a featured presenter at American Harp Society National Conferences, World Harp Conferences, and Somerset Folk Harp Conferences. In addition, Sarajane has served on the faculty of Cedar Crest College as a harp instructor. |
Ted Williams is a classical guitarist who lives in Macungie, Pa. For many years Ted has maintained an active career as a guitarist and teacher. He has CD releases, both as a soloist and with his wife Sarajane.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Williams grew up in a musical home listening to his father play the guitar from an early age. Ted's first experience on stage was in folk music groups, and later he performed in jazz ensembles playing at Pocono Mountain resorts. He also worked as a studio guitarist for Fred Waring's Shawnee Press. Ted’s first teacher was Jim Mondillo of Easton, PA. He later studied with Bunyan Webb (NY), Alice Artzt (Princeton, NJ), Leonoid Bolotine (NY) and Peter Segal at the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts. Williams gave his classical guitar recital debut at the age of 19. He has appeared on the concert stage in New York and Philadelphia, both as a soloist and with chamber orchestras. He also gave performances at East Stroudsburg University, Moravian University, Penn State University, Temple University, Jefferson University, Muhlenberg College, Northampton Community College, Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, Philadelphia Civic Center, Bethlehem Classical Guitar Society, New York City Classical Guitar Society and Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society. Ted is also a former executive board member of the New York City Classical Guitar Society, and has served on the faculties of Lafayette College, Moravian University, Muhlenberg College and Temple University Boyer College of Music. |
