The Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy Home Study Training Course® by Sarajane Williams is modeled after the original intensive weekend course taught in Pennsylvania. Now, a select group of certified VAHT Trainers are available to serve as mentors for harpists who are enrolled in this home study program. Applicants will be required to meet with their Trainers for the 8-hour practicum after completion of the home study portion.

Thank you for your interest in the Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy Home Study Training Course®
Please read before purchasing the Home Study course*** materials:
I. Enrollment for Part I: Home Study and CEUs
A. Within three years of the purchase date of the VAHTHSTC course materials, you must complete an enrollment form in order to receive up to two hours of free mentoring by a VAHT Trainer and to proceed with the Home Study portion (Part I) of the training process to become eligible to receive therapeutic musician continuing education credits. You will be expected to complete Part I of the Course within three years from the date of enrollment.
After three years from the date of purchase of the materials, you may be required to purchase additional, upgraded materials in order to be eligible for the completion of Part I of the Course.
B. After your successful completion of the requirements** for the Home Study portion of the training, your assigned VAHT Trainer will submit a Home Study Summary Evaluation Form to the Home Office and you will be issued a certificate for 15 CEU credits for therapeutic musicians.
C. Completion of Part I of the Training does not commit you to apply for Part 2, nor does it guarantee acceptance into Part 2 nor qualify you for the practice of VAHT.
D. Return Policy: There will be no returns on books, however damaged or defective items may be exchanged (with an RMA number) for the same item. This course is non-transferrable.
II. Application for Part II: Practicum and VAHT Practitioner Certification
A. Within two years after you have successfully completed the Home Study portion of the VAHTHSTC and have met the outlined prerequisites, you must complete an application and submit the required documentation in order to be approved to proceed with the supervised practicum and certification portion of the course.
B. After your application is approved, you may schedule your practicum with your assigned VAHT Trainer at his or her location. You will pay $600 to your designated Trainer directly for your eight-hour practicum.
C. After your successful completion of the practicum, the Trainer submits a completed Practicum Evaluation Form to the Home Office. The Home Office issues a VAHT Practitioner certificate to you.

CEUs: Part I: 15 hours for home study of written and on-line information; Part II: 8 hours for live, practicum experience (approved by most TM Training Programs - contact director for approval)
Course Objectives:
- To become familiar with the vibrational medicine paradigm
- To develop a working, professional knowledge base and vocabulary for vibroacoustic harp therapy (VAHT)
- To become familiar with the use of VAHT equipment
- To experience the “hands on” implementation of VAHT, and to gain
experiential insight in preparation for offering or supervising VAHT
Required Course Materials:
The VAHT Home Study Training Course notebook & videos, Good Vibrations: Principles of Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy (book) and Therapeutic Harp: Ancient legacy, sound science, clinical applications (video), all by Sarajane Williams (all are included with this order).
*Eligibility:
This intensive course is being offered to harpist-graduates of therapeutic music training programs, licensed health care professionals (i.e. nurses, doctors, chiropractors, psychologists, music therapists), supervised harpists who have been working in a clinical setting for at least 2 years, and health care professionals or administrators who will supervise certified Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy practitioners. After successful completion of the Home Study portion of the training, a completed application form must be submitted for review for acceptance, for the practicum and certification.
Upon completion of this training course, a licensed and/or board certified health care professional (e.g. nurse, doctor, psychologist, chiropractor, music therapist), who is also a harpist, will be able to independently offer VAHT as a Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy Practitioner (VAHTP). Non-harpist health care professionals and health care administrators will be able to supervise or work in tandem with VAHTPs who are not licensed or board-certified health care professionals.
